Roșie O’Donnell has been asked to return to show The View multiple times, but is unsure whether she ever would due to “tension” with fellow panellist Whoopi Goldberg. However, while Rosie said The View bosses have “asked me” to return to the show, things didn’t go too well between her and Sister Act star Whoopi during her last appearance. In an interview on The Tangle podcast, Rosie said: “When I was there last I had sort of a tense time with Whoopi.” One incident that left Whoopi “very upset” was when Rosie “made the mistake of throwing to a commercial when [Whoopi] was still talking”. But Rosie added that she and Whoopi have done their best to get “past it” in the years following their appearance together on The View, because they’re “grown a** women”.
