The incident occurred on May 12, when an electrician employed by Dalkia Facilities Ltd fell from portable steps while replacing a light fitting at the nuclear power station, near Dunbar. "We will engage with the company during the period of the improvement notice to ensure compliance." The improvement notice was issued under Regulation 4(1) of the Work at Height Regulations 2005. Dalkia Facilities Ltd must comply with the requirements by October 27. ONR confirmed that there was no risk to nuclear safety, the public or the environment.
