Furness College and Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) have now become B&FC Group, one of the largest college groups in the North West. "While we are one organisation from today, the identities, heritage and strengths of both B&FC and Furness College remain central to our future. Scott Cubitt, campus principal of Furness College, said: "This is a significant moment for Furness College as we officially join the new B&FC Group. "Becoming part of this new group gives us greater capacity to do that, while allowing Furness College to retain the identity, relationships, and values that matter to our community. To launch the new B&FC Group, club captains from Barrow AFC and Blackpool FC, MJ Williams and CJ Hamilton, unveiled the group's branding.
