Speaking about the latest development, Mr Tewson said: “It’s always one step forward and two steps back.
After calling emergency services and spending hours giving evidence at Watford Police Station, Mr Tewson waited to be updated.
Mr Tewson alleges that an officer made dismissive and insensitive comments and that his concerns about bias and homophobia were “marginalised”.
Herts Constabulary has stated it wished to “reiterate its sincere condolences and sympathy” to Mr Tewson about the death of Mr Gough.
