Jake Finn is the culinary mastermind behind Cinder in Belsize Park and St John's Wood. And the ex Ritz chef has set up a kitchen garden on the roof of his restaurant in St John's High Street to supply delicious ingredients for his dishes. He says some parts of the garden are flourishing as a succession of heatwaves hits the capital. Jake added that sweetcorn, chili, gherkins, beetroot and carrots also seem to be "loving the heat." Some crops on our rooftop garden have struggled with the sustained high temperatures - British strawberries are a good example."
