The Furze Wren, located on Mayplace Road West, is reopening its doors at 8am on Tuesday, August 11, following just over three weeks of closure for refurbishment. The pub will be open from 8am to midnight Sunday to Thursday, and until 12.45am on Fridays and Saturdays. Pub manager Danny Murphy said: "The investment in upgrades, refurbishment and repair work highlights Wetherspoon’s commitment to the pub, as well as its staff and customers. "The team are looking forward to welcoming customers back into The Furze Wren and we’re confident that they will be pleased with the refurbishment and upgraded facilities."
