By Special CorrespondentBhopal: The long-pending issue of employee promotions in Madhya Pradesh, unresolved for over a decade, remains a matter of deep concern. On Saturday, the Mantralaya Seva Karamchari Adhikari Sangh president stated in a press release that the stalemate between reserved and unreserved categories could have been resolved had there been sincere efforts at mediation. He stressed that both sides are not inherently opposed to each other and consensus was possible, but no honest attempt was made to bring them together. According to him, courts deliver justice but not solutions, and therefore arbitration and mediation are the most viable ways forward. He concluded that good governance cannot be achieved by fostering conflict within the administrative workforce, and urged authorities to adopt mediation for a balanced and lasting settlement.
