Diane Sindall, a 21-year-old florist from Birkenhead, was killed in the early hours of August 2, 1986. A service of remembrance was held at Diane's memorial stone on Borough Road on Sunday (August 2). Among those attending was Kenneth Clarke, now 81, who was a taxi driver working on the day Diane was killed and among the last people who saw her alive.
