Forecasters say most places should stay dry through the morning and early afternoon, with sunshine and warm temperatures, before the risk of showers starts to increase from around 3pm as the cloud builds in from the west. From about 3pm onwards, weather maps and model guidance suggest showers will begin to bubble up across North East Wales, with some turning heavy for short periods and giving sharp bursts of rain. Overnight, the risk of showers is expected to gradually ease, with most places turning drier again into the early hours and tomorrow starting on a brighter, still‑warm note. Tomorrow is still expected to be warm across North East Wales, with Wrexham set to reach around 26C and much of Flintshire only a touch lower in the mid‑20s Celsius under bright or sunny spells. This means the familiar early‑August pattern of warm days punctuated by occasional bands of rain or heavy showers looks set to continue.
