The incident took place on Thursday, July 30, on St John’s Road during a police operation targeting anti-social driving when a rider allegedly failed to stop for a police motorcyclist. A pursuit began shortly after 1.30pm and allegedly reached speeds of 100mph before the rider eventually pulled over and was arrested. Jack Housman, 20, of Station Road, Clacton, has been charged with failing to stop, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving while disqualified. Chief Insp Grant Fryatt said: "Our work to tackle anti-social behaviour on Clacton’s roads is incredibly important. "But we also know anti-social driving is having a real impact on our community and on how they feel in their town.
