Come to Superior Public Library 2-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 for a hands-on recycled papermaking workshop and demonstration. Come back to the library at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 to create your own bookmark using the handmade paper we made. Upcoming classes include about Google Maps on Aug. 13, “technology for aging in place” on Aug. 20, and smartphone photography on Aug. 27. On Aug. 24, the library will show “Project Hail Mary” (PG-13) which stars Ryan Gosling as a middle-school teacher who awakens aboard an interstellar spacecraft. Local author and humorist Gina Ramsey will visit the library on Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. in celebration of the newest book in the Burnt Gloveboxes series, “Animal Mayhem: When Wild Things Go Wilder.
