The incident happened around 1.10am on July 28, 2026 on Millhill Road in Stevenston. Detective Constable Martine Armstrong said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act. “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us. “I would also ask anyone who was in the area and may have dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to get in touch.” Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 0164 of 28 July, 2026.
