In a letter addressed to Nadda, the United Doctors Front (UDF) welcomed the recent changes introduced by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The adjournment was granted after the Registry failed to place the Centre's counter-affidavit on record. Sundresh and Prasanna B. Varale directed the Registry to trace the Centre's counter-affidavit and place it before the Court. According to the data shared by the Minister, the pass percentage among first-time FMGE candidates was more than 35%, while around 88% of the candidates who appeared for the June 2026 session were repeat candidates.
