The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has introduced an online portal allowing citizens across the province to challenge and cancel wrongly issued e-challans without visiting any office. The new system enables residents who believe they have received an incorrect traffic violation notice through camera-based monitoring to file a review request digitally, eliminating the need for in-person visits to PSCA offices. They can then access the Review Section on the portal and submit a form along with supporting documents and evidence backing their claim. Once a request is submitted, a dedicated Safe City team examines the challan alongside the evidence provided by the applicant. The PSCA said the initiative is aimed at saving the time of citizens and improving transparency in the enforcement of traffic laws across the province.
