As part of the agreement, Richardson must pay a $500 fine, complete 100 hours of community service and take an eight-hour driving course. Richardson became a global name after winning the women’s 100-meter title at the 2023 World Athletics Championships. Richardson recently added another victory to her résumé, winning the 100-meter race at the U.S. track and field championships in July. She will now balance her training and competition schedule with the required community service and driving class.
