Megadeth have announced their last ever UK and European tour, promising fans a “true celebration of metal”. Today (Monday August 3), the thrash metal pioneers shared news that their multi-year, global farewell tour would set to take them across the UK and Europe, joined by fellow metal titans Black Label Society and Testament. “When we started talking about this tour, we wanted it to be a true celebration of metal,” he added. “Black Label Society and Testament are bands we have tremendous respect for, and having them join us makes these shows even more special. Looking back to the explosion of thrash metal in the ’80s, Mustaine also looked to the future of the genre.
