The number five moment on our countdown of Top 10 sports moments from Pella Christian this past school year is the continued tradition of success for the Eagles cross country program. Hosting the Class 2A State Qualifying Meet at Central College on October 23rd, Pella Christian swept the top spots in both the boys and girls races, punching their tickets to the State Meet in Fort Dodge. The Pella Christian boys were led by two top-five finishes, with Sawyer Meinders taking third place (16:57.04) and Griffin Stoltz not far behind in fourth (17:01.58). Bailey Vos led the way for the Pella Christian girls with a third place finish (19:49.73), while Keliah Schiebout finished in 11th (20:42.63). The Eagles finished their season at the Class 2A State Meet at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, where the girls finished in seventh place and the boys finished in ninth place.
