Officers from Glenties Fire Service raised a huge €5,250 for Donegal Hospice during their annual collection at the weekend. They lifted the money at various collection points in Ardara and Glenties on Saturday. “Just want to say a huge thank you from us all here at the Glenties Fire Service, to everyone who donated today at our annual collection points in Glenties and in Ardara for Donegal Hospice,” they said. Due to the current hosepipe restrictions, there was no washing of vehicles at any Donegal Fire Stations this year. The hospices were: Donegal Hospice, The Foyle Hospice, the North West Hospice in Sligo.
