The President also recalled Patrick Komasu, identified as Patrick Komasu (702), from his assignment with the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency, suspended him without pay, and ordered that he be placed under investigation. President Boakai also ordered the dismissal of all government employees and law enforcement personnel indicted in connection with the narcotics investigations. Among those dismissed are Mohammed O. Gbowrah, Director of Security at Roberts International Airport, and Moses Jallah, Deputy Commander of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency assigned at the airport. The statement said the Government will continue to enforce the law “without fear or favor” and hold accountable anyone found to have participated in narcotics trafficking or related criminal activities. The Executive Mansion said the Government remains committed to taking all lawful measures necessary to combat narcotics trafficking, dismantle criminal networks, strengthen national security, and protect Liberia’s international reputation.
