ELKINS -- A Randolph County man has been sentenced to prison time on drug and fleeing charges. He was also sentenced to 12 months of incarceration for one count of fleeing in a vehicle, a misdemeanor. Bishop was initially indicted in February by the Randolph County Grand Jury on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony. The state was represented by Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney Michael Parker. As he sentenced Bishop, Wilmoth stated that Bishop had previously written multiple letters to him about going to rehab, but he believed Bishop had no intention of seeking rehabilitation based on the testimony given that day.
