A Georgian court has sentenced anti-government activist Tornike Toshkhua to five days for holding a banner during a protest asking whether the founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party Bidizina Ivanishvili is a dick. Toshkhua was also detained for the same act just a few days earlier, but was released with a ₾3,000 ($1,100) fine. At the time, he held a banner directly asking if Ivanishvili was a dick. On the day of his second arrest, 31 July, he prepared a similar banner, except that it displayed on the first letter of the Georgian word for ‘dick’. The activist’s court hearing was held on Sunday, where he was sentenced to five days of administrative detention.
