Trendon Watford is in “advanced negotiations” to join Valencia Basket in the EuroLeague, sources tell Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews. The former Sixers forward became a free agent in late June when the team declined its $2.8MM option for the 2026/27 season. Watford signed with Philadelphia last summer after spending two years in Portland and then two more with Brooklyn. Valencia, which compiled the second-best record in the EuroLeague last season, recently added former NBA forward Mouhamadou Gueye to its roster. There’s more international news to pass along:
