Motorists with outstanding traffic admissions of guilt fines have been given a two-month opportunity to settle their fines. The amnesty runs from 3 August to 30 September and is aimed at helping the public clear outstanding traffic matters while reducing the backlog of unresolved traffic-related cases. Hango says motorists can pay their fines in person at the district court where the notice to appear in court was issued. Alternatively, payments can be made via electronic funds transfers (EFT) into the designated bank account of the relevant district court,” she says. The Office of the Judiciary says the amnesty applies only to the payment of outstanding admission of guilt traffic fines.
