Every Brilliant Thing, written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe, will run from August 12 to September 5 at Theatre by the Lake before touring community spaces across Cumbria. Theatre by the Lake said: "Following a successful run and tour in 2023, Every Brilliant Thing returns to our studio before visiting community spaces across Cumbria." These include Cumbria’s suicide prevention and bereavement support charity Every Life Matters. They are also supported by PAPYRUS, the national charity for the prevention of young suicide, and men’s suicide prevention charity Andy’s Man Club. Theatre by the Lake encourages audiences to consider the wider context of the play and to reach out for support if needed.
