Plan for modern home on the edge of Bracknell rejected over loss of woodland

But concerns were raised about the loss of woodland on the site, which is part of the gap between the two settlements at a Bracknell Forest Council planning committee meeting.
Questioning that, councillor Tony Virgo (Conservative, Winkfield & Warfield East) said: “When you are ascertaining the damage, presumably the woodland will grow, from my own understanding, from my own house, trees grow extremely quickly.
“Because even though they've taken a small piece of land, the forest around it will continue to thrive, won't it?”
This proposal appears to be just one small house in a lane where there are other larger properties currently being built.
