Hyderabad: Central Crime Station (CCS) of Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has registered a case after sensitive personal and medical records of patients at Star Hospitals were leaked online. The case was registered after Star Hospitals CEO Rahul Medakkar filed a formal complaint. Confidential data allegedly found on websiteAccording to the complaint, the hospital's IT team discovered that confidential information belonging to Star Hospitals had been hosted on a website `warehouse. Patients' medical records among leaked dataStar Hospitals told police that the allegedly leaked database contained patients' personal details, medical records, employee information and confidential internal documents. It maintained that no other individual or organisation had been authorised to access or publish the confidential information.
