Adilabad: Police have busted a cross-border burglary gang after arresting two Bangladeshi nationals and an Indian accomplice.
The police uncovered a network that allegedly entered India illegally 10-12 times, used fake Aadhaar cards, posed as household appliance vendors to scout homes and carried out burglaries across multiple states before fleeing back to Bangladesh.
He said the accused had allegedly been involved in house burglaries and vehicle thefts across several states for nearly nine years.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohammed Jauni Ali alias Jani Ali (30) and Mohammed Ruman Ali (33), both natives of Dinajpur district in Bangladesh who were residing in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and Tarun Singh (29), a resident of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the SP, Mohammed Jauni Ali is the prime accused and has a long criminal history involving house burglaries and two-wheeler thefts across multiple states.
