Srinagar, Aug 3: Security forces foiled a suspected terror conspiracy in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Pulwama district by arresting a man and recovering a hand grenade, three anti-national posters and a mobile phone from his possession, police said on Monday. The arrest was made during a joint naka checking operation conducted by Pulwama Police, Army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles and 183 Battalion CRPF on the Drabgam-Pachar road. According to police, the joint naka party noticed a suspicious person approaching Pachar from Drabgam. On seeing the security personnel, the man allegedly tried to flee but was chased and apprehended near Fruit Mandi on Pachar Road. A hand grenade, three anti-national posters and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession, they added.
