Metascience unit co-leader says survey aims to give UK long-term evidence to support AI for science ambitionsA UK-wide survey on artificial intelligence use in research will help the government understand regional differences in AI-enabled research capabilities, according to the head of the country’s metascience unit. The first National AI in Research Survey, funded by UK Research and Innovation and open for responses until 4 September, asks how AI is being used in research and how policy can support its responsible and effective use.
