Halo: Campaign Evolved finally launched worldwide on July 29th after arriving in advanced access a few days prior. That Halo Studios, then 343 Industries, suddenly shadow-dropped it in November – a month before the campaign – really helped with the numbers. According to Circana’s Mat Piscatella, Campaign Evolved ranked fourth in daily active users on Xbox in the United States. Piscatella noted that Campaign Evolved had topped the PlayStation Store’s best-sellers in the US (which I can confirm at this time). Under Phil Spencer, Halo: Campaign Evolved would have been yet another big addition to the company’s multiplatform plans, finally marking the series’ debut on PlayStation.
