It stands tall as a worthy conclusion to Solid Snake’s story, and has largely been a missing piece in conversations about modernising the entire Metal Gear collection for new hardware. Why doesn’t it feel like more than just a mere bullet point on the back of Master Collection Vol. Of course, making things even harder is the fact that Master Collection Vol. It wouldn’t make sense to pitch this one to a player if it was going to be their first Metal Gear title. But we still hold firm on our position that MGS4 on current-gen hardware should be a bigger deal than it is.
