Dundee United are hopeful that Dario Naamo will be back in contention for next Sunday’s visit to Hearts. The Iraq international limped out of United’s 3-2 friendly defeat against Salford City last month due to a slight groin injury. However, United chiefs hope to step up the player’s recovery in the coming days and, barring any negative reaction to that, Naamo should be available for the trip to Tynecastle. “We picked the moments to play short; to be brave; to be risky. The players were always looking forward, and great movement from Lachlan Rose, Zac Sapsford and Jesse Randall meant we got in behind the back-line numerous times.”
