Several properties in Dundee city centre lost electricity due to a power cut. The outage was reported around the West Bell Street area, with Dundee Sheriff Court one of the buildings impacted. It is understood that court proceedings were not disrupted and power was restored at around midday on Monday. Scottish and Southern Electricity Network (SSEN) engineers had been called to the outage which was reported at around 11.10am. SSEN’s power track map suggested properties on West Bell Street, Ward Road and the lower part of Constitution Road had been affected.
