Sandie Peggie’s appeal against NHS Fife tribunal ruling takes major step forward

The NHS Fife nurse at the centre of a trans changing room row has taken a big step forward in her fight against a tribunal’s judgement. But she failed in claims of discrimination, victimisation, and sexual harassment against NHS Fife. All claims against Dr Upton were also rejected by the employment tribunal. Ms Peggie has directly named retired NHS Fife chief executive Carol Potter in another discrimination and harassment claim against the health board. A spokesperson for Ms Peggie said NHS Fife now has 28 days to respond to a notice of appeal.
