St Andrews Links Trust has appointed a new chief executive with a sporting pedigree and a golf handicap of 11. Richard Holland, previously chief executive of Cardiff Rugby, will take up the position on September 11. He was appointed following an extensive recruitment process after the departure of the Links Trust’s former chief executive Neil Coulson earlier this year. A recent study found that St Andrews Links generated £317 million for Scotland’s economy annually, supporting more than 4,300 jobs across the country.
