Donations welcome for Leechburg food programThe Leechburg Food Bank and Leechburg Area School District sponsor the Providing Alternatives to Hunger “PATH” program for children in the district. To donate, mail a check made out to Leechburg Food Bank with “Community PATH” in the memo area to Leechburg Food Bank Treasurer, P.O. Pickup: Aug. 22 at the shelter, 730 Church St. Orders: animalprotectors.org. Tuesdays: Plum Food Pantry, 81 Sandune Drive, distributes free food from 4:30 to 6 p.m. the first three Tuesdays of each month. Orders: 724-226-1644 by 8:15 p.m.Wednesdays and Saturdays: Alle-Kiski Valley Historical Society, 224 E. Seventh Ave., is open from noon to 3 p.m. and other times by appointment.
