Clouds increase tonight as the cold front approaches, with a chance for rain arriving well after midnight. There is no local severe weather threat with any of this rain activity, due to a lack of wind shear and instability. There will be the potential for training shower activity, however, especially across North Iowa. This *could* mean rain totals approaching the 1″ mark across portions of our viewing area, especially east of I-35 in North Iowa. Not anything too concerning at this time, and some of our North Iowa viewing area could still use the rain!
