The centre, based at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, is undergoing repairs after recent sustained warm weather resulted in damage to an area of plasterwork. The health board said all diabetes services will continue to operate during the repairs and that work is underway to relocate clinic appointments to other parts of Victoria Hospital and to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline. "Work is underway to relocate clinics to Victoria Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital wherever possible. "The safety of patients, staff and visitors remains our highest priority. NHS Fife say they will will keep patients updated and will provide further information about returning to the diabetes centre once repairs are complete.
