Clifton Wealth Partnership (CWP) has acquired two independent financial planning firms in South Wales, adding £68m in assets under management and more than 300 clients to the business.
The acquisitions of Banyard Independent Advice Services and Wilcox Financial Planning strengthen CWP’s presence in South Wales and form part of its strategy of partnering with established advisers seeking long-term succession solutions.
Meanwhile, Talbot Green-based Wilcox Financial Planning, founded by Gerwyn Wilcox in 2015, oversees around £46m in AUM on behalf of approximately 250 clients.

Gerwyn Wilcox will continue as a consultant during the handover, while Wilcox Financial Planning’s paraplanner will join CWP full time.
