Megadeth announce first UK dates in 11 years as part of new European leg of farewell tourMegadeth have announced that they are set to perform in the UK for the first time in 11 years, as the latest extension of their farewell tour. The American thrash metal band announced their plans for a final tour almost a year ago, but there currently seems to be no end in sight for the rockers, as they are set to return to the UK next year for their first headline shows since 2015. Right now, Megadeth are in the midst of a North American stint on the road before they head Down Under in November, but have now revealed a UK set of dates that will take them into 2027. The extension of the farewell tour comes as no real surprise given that Megadeth’s frontman, Dave Mustaine, said last year that the band’s final rodeo could last as long as five years.
