Officials from Uzbekistan's Tashkent region and Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan reviewed progress on $235.7 million worth of joint investment projects and discussed expanding cooperation in trade, industry and other sectors during an online meeting.
This was reflected in the statement by the Tashkent Regional Administration following the talks between Tashkent Region Governor Zoyir Mirzayev and Bashkortostan Head Radiy Khabirov.
The sides discussed ways to deepen cooperation in trade, investment and industrial development, while also reviewing the implementation of ongoing bilateral projects.
According to the administration, seven investment projects with a combined value of $235.7 million are currently being implemented under a presidential decree.
The parties also exchanged views on prospective joint initiatives and new investment projects aimed at taking regional cooperation to a new level.
