The volume of Azerbaijani oil exports to Greece grew in the first 6 months of 2026.
Meanwhile, the data emphasizes that from January through June last year, Azerbaijan exported 232,400 tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals to Greece, valued at $129 million.
Overall, according to the committee's data, Azerbaijan exported 10.12 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals in the first six months of the year, worth $6.2 billion.
Italy remained the largest buyer of Azerbaijani oil from January through June 2026, importing 5.9 million tons worth $3.49 billion.
The Czech Republic ranked second with imports of 705,800 tons valued at $497.4 million, while Bulgaria placed third with purchases of 358,800 tons worth more than $253.1 million.
