Overall, according to the committee's data, Azerbaijan exported 10.12 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals in the first six months of the year, worth $6.2 billion. Italy remained the largest buyer of Azerbaijani oil from January through June 2026, importing 5.9 million tons worth $3.49 billion. The Czech Republic ranked second with imports of 705,800 tons valued at $497.4 million, while Bulgaria placed third with purchases of 358,800 tons worth more than $253.1 million.
