Gillian Dylis Green, 87, died after she was seriously injured in a crash on Shalford Road involving a car and a parked vehicle at about 3.40pm on Sunday, July 19. The 87-year-old from Rayne was taken to hospital, but later died from her injuries. In a statement, her family said: "Gillian Dylis Green (Gill) of Rayne passed away on 19th July 2026 following a tragic accident. "She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends." Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and have appealed for witnesses and information to come forward.
