Property Al Seeb awards main contract for Chedi Private Residences ByWith a total built-up area of around 1.25m sqft, the skyscraper will rise about 250m across 53-storeys featuring 117-residencesAl Seeb Real Estate Development has awarded a key contract to Ancient Builders Constructions (ABC) for the construction of The Chedi Private Residences, a US $200mn tower on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The agreement was signed by Mahesh Kalwani, the Vice Chairman of Al Seeb, and Zeeshan Ali Akhtar, the Managing Director of ABC in Dubai. Enabling works are already under way, and the appointment takes the tower into main construction, the firm confirmed. Al Seeb said piling, shoring and excavation are running now. Al Seeb is developing the residences under licence with Chedi Hospitality, which will operate them under The Chedi brand.
