The Williams County commissioners approved a management contract on Thursday, following over a year of efforts to improve Hillside Country Living’s financial status. The agreement is with Vancrest Management Corp., which operates and owns a number of nursing homes in western and northwest Ohio. Vancrest will get 5% of the facility’s gross sales under the terms of the one-year agreement. In return, Vancrest will offer Hillside complete operational, managerial, and administrative support. Workers will continue to be categorized as county employees.
