It added, however, that the Coalition's position should not be construed as that of the national umbrella body for Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs). The views expressed in that statement are the Coalition's own and do not represent the position of GFD," it said. GFD disclosed that it has been engaging the Ministry of Education and other relevant institutions since concerns over the recruitment exercise emerged. Calling for unity within the disability community, GFD urged unemployed graduates and disability groups to pursue coordinated, evidence-based advocacy rather than confrontational action.
