Detective Senior Sergeant Martin Friend, Auckland City CIB, says the file was referred to the Auckland City Central Tactical Crime Unit (TCU) on Sunday. Officers successfully recovered the majority of the stolen equipment, as well as two bicycles allegedly stolen during separate thefts,” Detective Senior Sergeant Friend says. “A rapid investigation by the TCU team ensured the suspect was apprehended and the stolen tools were returned. “It’s great to deliver a swift and positive resolution for the victim,” Detective Senior Sergeant Friend says.
