According to officials, some of the students complained of severe stomach pain and diarrhoea on Sunday night. Upon learning of the incident, Collector Satya Sharada directed ZP CEO Ram Reddy, who is the special officer of the school, and local officials to inspect the school and submit a report detailing the cause of the suspected food poisoning. The ZP CEO, Tahsildar Vijay Kumar and others visited the school as well as the hospital and interacted with the students and the hospital superintendent.
