Under trial prisoner lodged at Mahabubabad jail dies at MGMH in WarangalAn undertrial prisoner from Mahabubabad, arrested in a 2017 murder case after failing to appear in court, died while undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital in Warangal. The deceased, Venkanna, aged around 40 and hailing from Mahabubabad, was an accused in a 2017 murder case. He was produced before the court on August 1 and subsequently shifted to the Mahabubabad sub-jail. Jail officials brought him to MGM Hospital after he fell ill while in custody. The man’s relatives said the family was not informed either when he was taken into custody or after he fell ill.
