The 21km men’s open in Sunday’s Bank Windhoek Red Run was won by Jeremia Shaliaxwe in just under 01:12 with Tangeni Sakaria in second place just over 01:12. The 10km men’s race produced a fast and exciting finish, with Asser Nalukaku winning in 30:55.56. The junior categories showcased emerging talent, with Titus Endjambi winning the junior men’s 10km and Saaili Nelago Mupupa taking the junior women’s title. She added that the Bank Windhoek Red Run aims to encourage healthier lifestyles, active participation and community connection, while giving runners of different ages and abilities a platform to compete. “The Bank Windhoek Red Run is more than a race; it is a celebration of discipline, wellbeing and the community spirit that continues to move Namibia forward.”
